Samantha Rankin

After studying Environmental Science at Charles Sturt University, Sam pivoted into the world of marketing and communications. For the past decade, she’s worked across copywriting, communications and marketing strategy through her business, Copy Circle. In that time, she’s partnered with over 150 organisations, ranging from small businesses to large multinational corporations, helping them to communicate with clarity and creativity.

At Cesar, Sam is particularly keen on bringing complex science to life for diverse audiences. She resists jargon and unnecessarily complex language and gets to the crux of what makes good marketing, good marketing: telling stories that connect with humans.

Outside of work, Sam is happiest outdoors: surfing, mountain biking or telling every dog she passes in the street how good they are (it’s always very, very, very good).
