With our sister-company EnviroDNA, we are searching for an exceptional bookkeeper to work across both entities, managing the accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll functions, whilst assisting with month end reporting. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Process accounts payable invoices (inc. assisting in stock ordering), ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Monthly payroll process for approx. 40 employees (inc. superannuation administration, work cover).
  • Management of creditor invoicing and dealing with external clients to ensure accounts are paid on time
  • BAS lodgement and preparation of tax compliance (inc, PAYG, IAS, GST, Payroll tax).
  • Reconcile daily bank reconciliations.
  • Monthly GL reconciliations and GL journals.
  • Assisting with project reporting, balance sheet reconciliations and cash flow management
  • Maintaining the fixed asset schedule.

Relevant skills and experience to be successful in this role include:

  • Formal qualifications in Accounting, Business, Commerce or Bookkeeping
  • Previous experience in similar roles
  • Experience with Xero accounting package
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Payroll experience essential.
